Sherry A. Hudson Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Sherry A. Hudson writes stories and articles for children and teenagers
BLOOMINGTON, IN, June 30, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sherry A. Hudson, Writer, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in creative writing.
After devoting 33 years to Indiana University, Ms. Hudson decided that it was finally time to pursue her lifelong love for the written word. She turned her attention to writing in 2007, with a particular focus on stories and articles for children and teenagers. Ms. Hudson conducts a great deal of research to generate ideas and information for her stories and articles, and is also currently interviewing a variety of personalities. To date, she has written a number of stories and articles, and has received positive feedback for them. She is currently researching publishers for her teen mystery novel.
During her time at IU, Ms. Hudson worked with the library and telecommunications divisions. She also used her communication skills to write manuals and instruction guidelines for the university, and retired having attained the position of supervisor of the data network group. She attributes her desire to succeed in writing for children, to her love for educating children, and opening new worlds for them through reading.
Ms. Hudson holds a diploma from the Institute of Children's Literature for writing short stories and magazine articles, and is finishing her advanced coursework on writing books. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
