Nominations Sought for 2010 Nonprofit Innovation Awards
Honoring local community service.

HARRISBURG, PA, September 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Central Penn Business Journal is now accepting nominations for the annual Nonprofit Innovation Awards, honoring local community service. The awards program is designed to recognize and honor local 501(c)(3) organizations and executives that demonstrate innovation in their daily operations. The awards include a grant presented to each category winner to assist them in serving their communities.

An independent panel of judges will review and score the nominations to determine finalists and award recipients in each of the five categories: Brand Identity/Unique Marketing Campaign, Collaboration, Management Operations, Programs and Nonprofit Leadership Excellence.

Up to 35 finalists will be recognized and award winners revealed at an awards breakfast on February 24, 2010. The award recipients in the organization categories will each receive a check for $2,000, and the award recipient in the Nonprofit Leadership Excellence category will receive a check for $1,000 made payable to his/her organization.
