3am.co.uk has launched the poll of the decade, the 3am-ees, which take a light hearted look at the celebrity winners and losers from the past decade.
LONDON, ENGLAND, December 18, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- 3am.co.uk, the showbiz gossip site run by the Daily Mirror, has announced the creation of the 3am-ees, an awards poll that will ask the British public to highlight who they consider to be the celebrity winners and losers from the past decade.
The 3am-ees Awards offer readers the chance to vote in 9 different categories with 90 nominations in total to pick from, with categories including 'The More Annoying than Joss Stone Award for Services to Irritation', the 'We'd Tap That All Decade Long' award and an award for the 'The Decade's Most Loved Ginger'.
Isobel Mohan, Editor of 3am.co.uk, said: "While other celebrity websites will be falling over themselves to slap stars on the back for their achievements over the last ten years, 3am.co.uk's end of the decade poll doesn't really bother with the back bit."
Unlike many other online polls, readers of 3am.co.uk can vote as many times as they like in the 3am-ees with no restrictions. To vote, readers simply click on the award category, peruse the nominees and click their relevant button, then scroll to the bottom of the page and hit 'vote'. Voting in the awards runs until the 22nd December with one winner being revealed daily from Boxing Day onwards until the ultimate celebrity icon will is announced on Monday 4th January. Out of the votes cast so far in the awards Katie Price currently leads the polls, having received the most nominations.
