Susan L. Singer celebrates three years as the Manager of Governance for the American Society of Anesthesiologists

PARK RIDGE, IL, June 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Susan L. Singer, Manager of Governance for the American Society of Anesthesiologists, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in project, program and portfolio management in scientific, technological and academic research environments.

With nearly three years of experience as Manager of Governance for the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Susan L. Singer is responsible for overseeing a unit within the Executive Office of this association management organization that works with the major governing bodies of the Society, including the Administrative Council, the Board of Directors, the House of Delegates and over 90 committees, subcommittees, editorial boards and ad hoc groups. She began as a contractor for the American Society of Anesthesiologists and was eventually hired full-time; she attributes her success in this position to her project management skills and scientific background.

Ms. Singer received her Bachelor's Degree in Russian Language and Area Studies from San Diego State University in 1981. She is a member of the Project Management Institute and is pursuing an advanced project management credential from Stanford University.
