Magazine President Is Published In The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

As President and Editor of Coconut Times Inc. for the past 11 years, Brenda has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Established in 1985, Coconut Times is a resort entertainment magazine that is dedicated to fun in the sun and after dark. The magazine reaches a population of more than 300,000 with leisure time and vacation money to spend. It is widely distributed from Fenwick Island to Ocean City, West Ocean City, Berlin and Ocean Pines with a circulation of 30,000 at summer peak to 15,000 during off-season. Coconut Times is published weekly on Fridays from Springfest through October and monthly in the off-season.

The magazine's two travel features contain leisure reading and phenomenal photography. Readers are also treated to a taste of Ocean City cuisine each week with restaurant reviews in the Best Bites section. They also have a section entitled Coco's Choice Series, which features area merchants and is a proven winner in attracting more customers and increasing sales.

Brenda purchased the publication in 1999 and she has continued the tradition of featuring original artwork on the cover and the exclusive feature called Barhopping, written by bartenders from all the top clubs and restaurants in the area. Coco Nights, written by Brenda, provides music news and an inside track to some of the local entertainers, as well as a guide to who's playing around town.
