Having been invited to visit their Uncle in Paris, they looked forward to a holiday filled with a great deal of fun and pleasure. But, it was not to be. They soon discovered that they are being targeted by criminals.

Soon their physical prowesses as well as their intelligence, garnered during their college days in solving petty international crimes, are put to the test. Other than guessing that they are targets because of some secrets relating to their father's past, there were no other clues provided. They had to bide their time and wait for events to unfold. They got their chance soon enough when they laid their hands on a cryptic message, which, fortunately, they were able to decode. They then realize that there was a distinct possibility of a trap having been prepared for them. They then resorted to wearing disguises and lay their own trap for the criminals. They set in motion a horrific series of rather unfortunate incidents of double dealing and backstabbing. However this also began the unfolding of the dire plot itself. Soon, a series of explosions & the cooperation of the police force led to the capture of the criminals.

The author, Maitreya Wagh, having spent his early childhood in Australia, developed a fairly global vision of the world. Hence his writing portrays a much broader perspective in his approach to international crime and related investigations. Phil Kettle, the "Too Cool" author's workshop had a profound effect on him. It was just the impetus he required to write stories in his formative years. The great writers of crime such as Philip Pullman, and Anthony Horowitz inspired him to embark on the theme of investigation and crime writing. His leaning towards writing when, at the age of five, he wrote fairly detailed cricket commentary. Maitreya, now a Mumbai based writer has decided that he wishes to donate all collections from his first book in the upcoming series, Investigations Redefined to benefit a charitable cause in India.
